Lady Prelox survey uncovers true state of female sexual health

Natural sexual desire supplement, Lady Prelox, recently conducted a survey to determine the truth about female sexual health in Britain.

Women of all age groups from across the UK completed the survey. The results reveal the extent of the sexual challenges they face.

Across all age groups, chlamydia was found to be the most common sexually transmitted infection. This, along with HPV, genital warts, and genital herpes, was most prevalent in those aged 25 to 34.

A huge 80 per cent of women have experienced a loss of sex drive or desire. While most common in the 55 to 64 age group, 28 per cent of 25 to 34 year olds had also experienced this type of sexual challenge.

42 per cent of women have suffered from dyspareunia, a disorder which makes sex painful due to vaginal dryness, 18 per cent have experienced an inability to orgasm and four per cent have suffered from sex addiction.

Annalaura Dallavalle, Product Manager at Pharma Nord UK, commented: “The survey was launched to get the nation talking about sexual health. Through acknowledging and openly discussing the challenges we face, we can remove stigma and improve awareness of the problems that many women face.”

More information and the full findings from the survey can be found in the accompanying infographic.
